I Want a Master’s Jacket!
…Or how about golf theme cupcakes for a special lady’s 30th birthday?
Oh yes, I did! Nancy and Hayden’s friend, Lydia is a huge golf fanatic who turned 30 last week. As a gift, Nancy ordered cupcakes for Lydia’s weekend birthday shenanigans!
They had a color theme of black, silver, and white… and Nancy really wanted Red Velvet and Cookies and Cream cupcakes. Yum!
Ekk! Those golfballs are basically PURE sugar aka marshmallow fondant that I dimpled to look like an actual golfball.
The extra Cookies and Cream cupcakes on the left went to Wisdom. Lucky co-workers… I tell you.
Yes, my friends… that is argyle hand-crafted by yours truly… every little diamond and cross-hatch.
I thought the golfballs needed a little more flair…
Bam! So, I quickly decided to pipe a little grass around the balls. Perfect!
Then, I was obsessed with piping grass, so I added it every where. :)
I made the little flags from silver cardstock and toothpicks then everything else out of marshmallow fondant.
Bubba Watson would be proud. Happy Happy Birthday to Lydia! Hope you had a FABULOUS birthday weekend and celebration. I was very excited to be a part of your special day.
